A Multi-Service Boutique Agency

Why we do what we do

A sprocket is a device that connects moving parts to create action, momentum and energy. So too is Sprocket Communications. Driven by our interests and experiences, we connect people and ideas to create unique voices for our clients. We’re kind of like matchmakers. Who does a brand want to talk to? Where do they find them? Where should the brand and the consumer go together? Based on these, and other questions, we use our expertise to talk to the world. It might be an intimate conversation. It might be a greeting card or an email. It might be a message delivered by bullhorn. You never know, but rest assured, our tactics are spot-on. We love what we do. We have fun doing it. And we use that energy to connect brands in an appropriate, meaningful way to the right audience

Aubrey Cornelius

Co-Founder

Aubrey is not psychic, but early in her career she saw the opportunity to provide clients with the superior service and personal attention they wouldn’t necessarily receive at a large PR firm, and created Sprocket Communications. Through sheer determination and creativity, Aubrey has landed her clients in well-known print, broadcast and online media outlets like the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Sunset, Gourmet, Bon Appetit, 5280, Denver Post and many more. Her background working on behalf of interesting and fabulous clients has provided the opportunity to establish herself in the community, as well as entrée into the media world at large. Aubrey loves to cook and try new restaurants, which may be why she has so many restaurants as clients.

Jeff Cornelius

Co-Founder

The list of nationally recognized brands Jeff has worked on is long and distinguished. He spent five years as VP in charge of Global Marketing and Sales for “Bodies…The Exhibition”. Before that, he worked with Radio City Entertainment, which of course included marketing the famous Rockettes and Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Jeff started his career at a well-known Denver advertising agency, then spent several years at major television affiliates negotiating media buys with brands like Nissan, KFC, Focus Films, Best Buy, Subway and more. Since 1995, his work has taken him from San Francisco to New York, Amsterdam to Istanbul, and tons of places in between, which is great because one of his hobbies is travel.

Manifesto

Local

Whether working regionally, nationally or internationally, to us, it’s all local. Now more than ever, perception is reality. We help our clients connect and interact from the ground up.

Sustainable

We know green is the new black, but at Sprocket we take earth-friendly living seriously and make sure our clients do too. We talk the talk and we walk the walk – check out the solar panels at our HQ.

Passionate

Simply put, we work with clients we admire and relate to. The more our brands are a part of our lives, the better equipped we are to thoughtfully and authentically tell their stories.
